My first blog post, written 5 years ago, in March 2013, can be seen below. It made the cut.

Sentimental reasons?

Not sure really. Maybe I decided to keep it as an example to myself, and for anyone else that finds it amusing. I'm sure several will.

But what even brought this about?

It's time to clean up this blog. All the old "just getting started" posts are going bye-bye. We've reached the next level of blogging, and it does not include keeping the clutter.

So why keep one? Why would I bother to hang on to my first blog post, from 5 years ago, that looks like was written by a 5th grader?

One word. It's Interesting.

It's interesting to see how far a person can advance, grow, and change since their beginning. Who is now banging out websites, blog posts, videos, and articles on a very regular basis.

my first blog post

Dominate Your MLM Company Online

Ranking first page on Google for no less than eight popular keywords for my MLM company and smothering Youtube on two different channels for that same company. That's domination..

Yes the first post was 5 years ago. But nothing much more over the next 3 years after that. It was a struggle back then getting into a rhythm or a routine. But the dream never left my mind.

And now the dream is slowly becoming a reality.

My Big Decision

It was 2 years ago that I made the big decision. The decision to quit playing around, get serious and make some shit happen. And then went to work.

The Time Was Now Or Never

I knew that I had more in me, but that I was failing to reach into my true potential. I also knew that if I really set my mind to it, that I could find that true potential. And that I had to.

Can anyone else relate to that?

If so then maybe it's time you also made that big decision, and go to work.

I Like To Help Others That Are Willing To Help Themselves.

Sometimes the hardest part is just getting started. For others getting started may be easy, but going beyond a comfort point might be the hold back.

That's what happened with me. After my first blog post, I reached a point that I was unfamiliar with, and that I knew was going to require some searching, studying, learning, and then doing. And that's when I became stuck.

But when it comes to something that we really want to do, we will have to find a way to get through that sticking point. We all know the feeling of satisfaction that will result from our breakthrough.

Get That First Blog Post Out Of The Way. Here's Why.

Why a first blog post?

Blogging is crucial. It's your gateway to everything else. Until you learn how to set up and build a full blown site, you can start with a blog. The blog will be your home base that acts as a hub for your network wheel.

You can drive traffic to your blog and build a list there. You can also link out to your other online properties and platforms. This way you are giving your visitors a road map to follow.

Consequently, they will enjoy the ride.

Your first blog post gets you started.

Blogging Leads To Greater Things

It's true.

Blogging is your first step to building a list, becoming a content marketer, and even to becoming an SEO expert. These are acquired skills that come through a transcending process.

And yes, you guessed it. Your first blog post is your first step.

my first blog post

You might like social media already. Maybe you are on Facebook getting a taste for online marketing. Sharing your blog posts on Facebook is an excellent way to mix up your content delivery. You can create a variety of content, and to begin showing yourself as more than just a Facebook poster.

If you are a blogger, you are becoming a real internet marketer.

How Exactly Do I Start? I'm Ready For My First Blog Post!

Those are words that a guy like me, loves to hear. This particular post is not your in depth step-by-step blogging guide. However, I can point you in that direction. I'll give you a couple of steps right now that will get you to your first blog post.

You need a hosting account. Don't worry it's easy. Get yourself a HostGator "Baby" account. Choose the monthly option for $11.95. This is good for any beginner.

Your account Control Panel will include the Quick Install software. A super simple 2 step point and click install for WordPress.org. No extra cost.

Get your hosting account, install your WordPress, and write your first blog post. And now you've started.

Don't download WordPress from the WordPress website .... you will install through your Hostgator C-panel

And don't do what I did. Don't start and then stop. Start and keep going.

I'm here to help.

You Are Learning A Trade That Can Pay You For Life

Once a person becomes multi-faceted with internet marketing there really are no limits to what can be accomplished.

A Trade That Can Pay You For Life

Having the skills to become ranked on front page of Google for any niche is priceless. Just as is being shown within the top ten videos on Youtube for any given keyword, or being shown regularly as a "suggested video" in their sidebar.

But you have to start somewhere. So start now, today. Get that first blog post done and go from there.

And Now For Kicks And Giggles, Check Out My First Blog Post Below

Just a couple things to note in the example below that you don't want to do.

Notice the big blocks of text. The paragraphs are too long. And there's no subheadings to break up the text. It makes this very difficult to read and would not score as satisfactory in any areas for SEO.

In addition, there were no images or calls to action on the page. No optimization for keywords either.

In my defense, it was my first blog post and I knew nothing about SEO, or easy reading scores, or anything else for that matter.

And it's one of the reasons why I want to keep it around. These are good talking and teaching points.

Here It Is, My First Blog Post From March of 2013

Ok this is pretty hilarious and I’m chuckling some as i write this… but I’m going to bare it all (not literally) in my quest to attempt to become a blogger. I’m documenting this for a couple reasons.. one is to try and get past a fear of being shy and expose my real self. …the other is to show some of my friends who might be interested in doing the same thing. Now I know some that see this are going to come back with an offer for a set and forget auto-blog program, some of which and one in particular that is very popular now, but I’m not going that route… I’m going the slow, tedious, takes forever, no immediate income stream route. Why?…  because I want to, and to see if I can, and because I like to learn.

So this might take a long time… I haven’t even set up the theme yet first I have to read through all the WordPress instruction…don’t even have a post up yet that’s why I’m writing this here… but I have gotten as far as getting a hosting account and installing the WordPress … and now starting to read the Set-up instructions…so you see this is funny.

I’m even going to post this on my Gurney Marketing Team site… which is really funny –  someone calling themselves a marketing team who doesn’t even blog yet HA

I”m not a complete dummy when it comes to networking or marketing…. just a complete dummy when it comes to internet marketing. You see I’ve done a lot of email and phone marketing and built a big database of other networkers and created a lot of relationships and more recently social networking all of which I still do and have come to excel at some of it. I have been able to build teams and support those teams, but I love to write and now it’s time to expand my horizons and start blogging  … and I know some of you are cracking up at me right now because you’ve been doing this already forever now and it seems silly someone like me who’s supposedly a leader is not blogging. Shoot – it will be really scary when I start videoing (is that even a word?) … I guess it is videoing well if not you know what i mean.

So…when I get my blog set up I will transfer this and it will be my first post and then you can monitor (and laugh) as I go.. and succeed or fail whichever happens. This is going to take a while maybe weeks maybe months I’m doing my conventional building at the same time and building the heck out of Q’ many hours every day that’s my top priority. I can build… just can’t blog. Maybe sometime in the future I build and blog. Enjoy watching

Thanks
BG

Are you a beginner online marketer? Have you been told you should be blogging? Has this made you wonder how to use a blog for business?

So what's this all about? Why should you bother with a blog and how can it benefit you?

blog for business

In this post we are going to help with these questions. We are going to tell you, and show you, how to use a blog for business.

Before we get into step by step instructions of how to blog, we will cover the basics of why you should be blogging, and why it makes sense to use a blog for business.

Build Your Brand

It all begins with establishing yourself online, creating a brand, and having a home base to drive traffic to.

blog for business

A blog is the perfect platform for doing those things. Use the blog to tell people about yourself.

Let them get to know you. Provide value by teaching something, and build a list at the same time

Blog posts are published on the internet. Each post has it's own unique URL and therefore can never get buried or lost or forgotten. They can also be updated at any time.

Make Google Happy

It's recommended to update your posts now and then. Doing so will renew the page indexing by Google each time.  You can watch the post climb in page rank as you continue to add value to the article. You want your website to be the one that's seen by people that do Google searches. That's what this is all about.

UPDATING YOUR POSTS IS A GOOD THING TO DO!

Bringing posts back to life with updates, additions, and enhancements provides more value for the reader and for Google. Updating can be faster and easier than trying to write a brand new post every time, and Google loves long form detailed content. You can't go wrong updating posts whenever you have new relevant content to add.

Blog posts are also easy to access. They can be found fast with a simple search at your blog page. Just put your keyword in the search box and you'll get a listing of all relevant posts. Very convenient for the reader.

Keep Your Network Updated

Blogging is an exceptional way to provide information that is continuously ongoing and advancing. Keeping people informed with useful information is a great way to build up subscribers and followers. You'll become known as an authority figure in your niche.

Use your blog as a home base to drive traffic and for sharing to all your other various social media platforms. You can create a wheel. Your blog is the hub with spokes linking your other online properties and pages.

Build your mailing list on your blog by offering a free compelling offer in exchange for an email.

Link Building

Link building is another important factor for Google ranking. Notice I said link building this time, not list building. Building a link profile and a linked network is pretty major for getting ranked and for building up your domain authority. That's why you want to tie everything together.

You can build links internally. Use anchor text to link with other pages of your website. You can also link build externally. These are called backlinks and they occur when other webmasters and bloggers link to your content from their websites.

link building is important!

Backlinks are big signals for Google page ranking. The more backlinks you have, the more points you get with Google. Google uses backlinks to gauge how important your page is. If someone links to you, they are giving you credibility. The higher the domain authority from those giving backlinks, the more points you get.

Sharing from your blog can get you backlinks if done right. There are techniques that we will cover more extensively in future posts.

Having a home base for your content is a great way to stay organized. Repackaging your content will help you build up your brand. Different delivery methods with the same content can make it appear new and fresh. It's perfectly okay to do this. It helps to always provide unique and high-quality material that is owned and branded by you.

Everyone Should Blog For Business

Everyone who is trying to create a brand, share a message online, or build a business should have a blog. From there you can add a Home Page, an About Me page, and Contact page. There are no limits. You can attach as many pages as you want and have a nice menu at the top to map the site.

Using a blog for business is something a beginner can do. Any person can have one up and running quickly with relatively little online experience, and will learn a lot about internet marketing. There are tools available that make it easy and fast.

Getting Started - You Need A Hosting Account

Now I'll go through some steps to get started, and provide some tips and resources to help you along with your task of using a blog for business.

First you need a hosting account. I use WPX Hosting which is an upgrade for me from my original hosting account. It's a slightly more advanced hosting company that specializes in WordPress and server speed.

blog for business

A beginner can use a shared hosting account such as HostGator. That's what I started with and I used it for years. I still use if for certain applications. HostGator is perfect for beginners. The price is right and it's perfectly sufficient for what you'll be doing.

blog for business

Choose the Baby Plan so you get the unlimited domains feature.

blog for business

Installing WordPress

Once you get your hosting account, setting up WordPress is a breeze. In your C-Panel (Control Panel) is a Quick Install button and the rest is fast and easy. Click through and follow the guide.

blog for business

WordPress will send you an email with your password and login link. Save the email for easy reference.

Now you have your WordPress blog/website, but it's just an empty shell at this point. You have a choice of free themes to choose from. Find the one you like and click to install. It's all done within your WordPress dashboard.

blog for business

There are premium themes available for a minimal cost. You are welcome to scan through what's available..

Once you have your theme you can add a header image and you'll be able to see the sidebar. It's starting to take shape.

Plugins

Still there are some things to do behind the scenes for site security, for backups, and for optimizing your posts and pages.

Plugins are like apps. They are as easy to install as the theme. Point and click. But there's thousands to choose from so don't let this rattle you.

You only need a few plugins to start that we will suggest here. They are all free.

A FEW PLUGINS WE RECOMMEND

  • Akismet Anti-Spam is a plugin that will monitor your site for spam comments. It works on auto-pilot and if you don't use it you will get a lot of spammers trying to advertise on your post comments.
  • The Wordfence Security is an anti-virus, firewall and malware scanner. It will protect your site against viruses and hackers.
  • WP-DBManager is a database manager for your entire site. It will back everything up automatically and completely take care of all your data. If your site ever gets corrupted for any reason you will be glad you have it.
  • check
The Yoast SEO plugin will take care of everything SEO. You are definitely going to want to have the Yoast plugin, if you plan to use a blog for business.
blog for business

There are more plugins you might want to take advantage of once you get going. One great thing about WordPress is that once you get rolling, there are always things you can do, and add, to make your site better.

The Sooner You Start Blogging, The Better

Another Google SEO factor is something called domain authority. Domain authority comes with time, and with link building with other established bloggers. Not only that but it can take up to 6 months just to get recognized and indexed by Google. So begin now and start establishing yourself with Google and with the online world.

I hope you enjoyed this overview and I hope that you received value from it. If you have a business, and you are not blogging yet, it is my wish that you immediately put in place a plan to start. Not only does it make a lot of sense to blog for business, some will say it's mandatory in this day and age.

There are right ways and wrong ways of doing just about everything ... would you agree? Writing blog posts and articles are no exception. At least not if you want to get read, and if you want people to take you seriously, and to come back for more.

Formats, styles, content, and how you deliver is ever evolving, but one thing remains constant, and that's how you write to get your readers attention, and to keep their attention.

The fact is, there are some critical basics for writing blog posts that never go out of style. I've listed a few of those here for you.

1. Know Who You Are Writing To

I'm sure you've heard it before about a gazillion times... know your audience. It only makes sense though. I do not need to spend a lot of time here. It kind of goes without saying that you will know who your target audience is. But even so... knowing who your audience is, and what they need to hear might be two slightly different things. It's crucial to provide content that your readers have an interest in, and in a way that will capture and keep them.

2. Know Your Topic

There's big talk about the importance of being consistent and regular in your online content. And it's true, you do need to be somewhat consistent. But that doesn't mean writing randomly about the sky just to get something out there. You do have to have a topic, and you do need to know something about it. So study up on your chosen topic if you need to. We are all a mouse click away from the largest information source in the world and it's all free, so use it.

3. Stories Don't Just Tell They Also Sell

Get personal. Write like a fellow human being and like a friend. Tell your story. Weave it in with your topic and content. You'll be amazed at the difference in reactions and attention. People love it when they have something they can really relate too. Your story may be their story too. Everyone can appreciate a good story, and now you are not just writing, but conversing as well. There is nothing better than captivating the attention of your reader with something that has an impact on them. Stories can do that well.

writing blog posts

4. Use Bold Headlines That Summarize The Content

Headline your article, and some of your paragraphs too. Headlines should not be tricky or cute. That's hard to pull off. Headlines should do nothing but tell the reader what they are about to hear. Use your headlines to "hook" the reader, but never in a deceptive way. Creating good "hooker" headlines is a skill that you will learn and get better at. When a reader stays you know they are intrigued and want to learn more.

5. Provide Value For Your Readers

Gone are the days of keyword stacking and rambling just to deliver content. Google, and your readers, want to see real content that means something. You can suggest, recommend, teach, opinionate, summarize, educate, or narrate, but just make sure your reader walks away feeling as though they got something from reading your post. Provide value and benefit. That is what will keep your audience coming back for more.

6. Discuss Benefits Not Features

It's all about them ... the readers. How will your product make them feel, or make things easier for them, or change their financial situation. Regardless of what your product is, your readers don't care so much about all the features of the product, they care about how it will affect them. Tell your story, or the product story, in a way that makes it about them, the reader. How will THEY benefit?

writing blog posts

7. Be Specific, Explain, and Provide Details

Will you agree that some of the reason for doing all this is to be found on the internet when people search for something? That means writing blog posts the way Google wants to see them written. They are the ones that need to be kept happy when it comes to page rank (your ranking or positioning in the search engine results).

There was a time when a blogger could write in just about any way, at any length, and stuff a bunch of keywords anywhere in the content. Not any more. Now google wants to see high quality content, details, and explanations, and quite frankly so does your readers. They can get filler and fluff anywhere. Google also wants to see longer posts than before. Keywords need to be strategically placed within the content in a way that makes good reading. It should all flow and make sense.

8. Include Images

Images do three things. They provide more SEO juice for Google, they get the readers attention, and they break up your content so it's more visually stimulating. Your images should relate to your topic in some way. It can be indirectly, but it should have some kind of connection, even if it's symbolic in a sense. You'll be able to keyword tag your images which is one of the SEO magnets. Your images can also be found in search engines for additional exposure back to your brand. Images are one of the most attention grabbing pieces of content used today. So are videos.

9.Just Get Started

Above all else ... just get started and you can perfect your blogging skills and your SEO knowledge along the way.Yes, Google will be looking for all the things I mentioned in the previous paragraphs. But that doesn't mean holding yourself back thinking it all has to be perfect or that you need to know everything. Writing blog posts is something that you will get better at as you go.

writing blog posts

The main thing is to get started. You can learn and get better as you go. You won't break anything and you won't be spanked. These are simply guidelines and things to work towards. Just get started and you'll be surprised how fast you get the hang of it.

So there you have it. The A,B,C's of writing blog posts. It's not rocket science and it does not have to be perfect. It's better to be constant and conform as best you can to these simple basics. The rest will all come with repetition. You'll be fine. Writing blog posts does not have to be a dreaded chore. You can enjoy yourself doing it. So have fun and happy blogging to you!

Who Should Have A Blog?

In my mind, everyone that is starting out or attempting internet marketing should for sure be doing some basic foundational activities. One of those activities is blogging. Blogging can take you down a lot of avenues because of the sharing aspects available online now. Your blog is your hub and everything branches out from there. It’s your home base. Everyone should have a blog.

So …to get started… of course you need to install and set up the blog, but first, you will want to have Have A Blogchosen and acquired a domain name. This is something that you should put some thought into. It will be your name tag online. Just the simple fact that you have your domain name can change the way people see you online. Now you are a serious marketer. It will set you apart from those who are not serious. Doesn’t sound like much I know but you would be surprised.

Put Some Thought Into Your Domain Name Choice

Your domain name will tie in with the niche market that you are going after. Targeting a select group of people will create far more efficiency in your marketing efforts and create better faster results. This is another area you would want to put some thought into …. but don’t over think it. I see far too many people get stuck with this and never get past the planning stage. This is a critical mistake that people make and it takes them right out of the game. We will teach you to just do it.

To install a WordPress blog you will need a hosting account. The blog itself is free but there is a minimal charge for hosting account…. however hosting is something that you are going to need anyway. If you Have A Blogcontinue on to learning how to set up lead capture pages and sales funnels you will need a hosting account. I use HostGator and it works just fine for me. Perfectly adequate and easy to navigate. Once you have HostGator you can install your WordPress blog right inside your hosting account C-Panel (back office) with just a couple clicks – super easy.

You will also want to learn how to create image banners and edit images. This is also free and fun. Microsoft Paint is fine for this, or any number of other image editing software. Some are free and some that are more advanced you can purchase. Images are important for blogging. Your cover image of course … but also images in your posts have a purpose as well.

And the icing on the cake is your lead capturing opt-in form that will be included with all your blog posts. The opt-in form is the beginning of a funnel that will capture leads, drip info on those leads, and direct Have A Blogthem down the path to wherever you want them to go.

Images for Blogging – What’s It All About?

Images for blogging do matter and in this blog post we will discuss why.

First, let me say this ….content marketing is arguably one of the most important things a person can do for Images for Bloggingbranding themselves and their businesses online. Having quality keyword-rich content on your blog or website is what will attract visitors doing searches online.

It’s known that blogging more than once weekly increases your rank placing and will get you more traffic than if your blog appears naked. It’s not hard to double your traffic fast if you blog consistently and often.

But the trick is to get your visitors and readers to come back for more. Images for blogging can be a big help in making that happen. They will break up the text making it easier on the eyes, they can be used for stressing main points, adding additional explanations to any topic, adding extra SEO juice to your post, and just making things more interesting. Entertaining and attractive content will bring readers back. Being careful to choose relevant and attractive images for your blog posts is well worth the time invested.

There are many different ways to go about locating and using images for your blogs and articles.

Take Photos Yourself

Phones today have great cameras in them as you well know. They can be used to produce great Images for Bloggingimages, and of course a digital camera too. Naturally, you want your photos to be relevant to the topic you are writing about, so if there is something you can do yourself that fits, by all means, have at it. You can snap a location you are in, a lifestyle you are writing about, products you might be promoting, or events you are attending. Make sure the lighting is good and for product pics you can make yourself a light box or outside in natural light.

Be Creative

Images for blogging don’t have to be photographs. You can relay great messages that hit your topic using quotes on a good background. It’s a great way to grab attention to a point you are trying to make and add interest at the same time. Good images grab eyeballs so you can really use that to stress something you want to get across.

Hire Someone

If your budget allows you can always hire someone that you trust to create your images for you. Fiverr is a good site for that and it’s affordable. There are other graphic designers on similar sites. this is a good alternative if you don’t have a lot of spare time or if you happen to have someone that you Images for Bloggingknow will be better at coming up with ideas. If you outsource your blog posts you can ask your writer if they know someone.

Check Out Stock Photo Sites

There are plenty of images for blogging available out there you just have to look around a little. iStockphoto and Pixabay just to name a couple. Some are free and some are paid. If you search enough you can find appropriate photos or images for almost any project. Make sure though that you familiarize yourself with the copyright rules and licenses and act accordingly.

Images are good to use and they can benefit your content creation in a big way, but at the same time, you don’t want to go overboard with them. Also, loading time can be a factor for your website so take this into account and use the smallest images you can get away with. Another thing, remember to use “alt tags” on the images to make the search engines happy and create more juice for your rankings. The “alt tags” also provide the reader with a description if the image fails to load.

Happy blogging and make a habit of using at least one or two relevant images in every post.

Do you want to blog, but you’re just not good at it?

Does your writing have much to be desired?

Relax, it’s ok … it’s not so uncommon. In fact, it’s really quite common.

Some people just hate to write. They are not good at it. They write anyway, because they want to blog, but it just stinks. It’s not readable. It looks and sounds like a mumble jumble mess. Sound familiar?

Others love to write… they are good at it… but maybe too good. They could write a novel, but is that good for a blog post? Stories are awesome, but is the reader staying on the page? Is it captivating enough to keep their attention? Are you getting your message across?

Your writing has to be readable for the common man (or woman).

People love to scan…. they are busy….they are in a hurry but have a few quick minutes to see what you have to say. So how do we keep those eyeballs on our blog post’s long enough to get the message across? How can we present this in a friendly way so as not to lose our readers?

I think this is something that a lot of people deal with…they want to blog, and so when I came across some great content on this very subject I got to thinking, and decided to share it with you in a blog post.

Question: “You want to blog, but do you think you need to spend hours and hours perfecting your writing skills?” The answer…probably not. In fact you might need to dumb it down some. The solution may be a lot easier than you expect. Writing less and styling your text so it’s easy to read could be all you need to do to attract and hold attention.

To write successfully for the web, you need to forget some of what you learned in English composition class, accept that people scan web pages rather than reading them in detail, and work with this reality rather than fighting it.

If you want to cover a complex topic, consider breaking it into a series of posts. It’s a great way to keep people coming back for more, and your reader will find it easier to digest your content if they get it in portion-controlled sizes.

Here’s a few simple ways to simplify your writing and to get more people to stay on your page and read ALL your content.

1) Use the line break.

It’s an easy way to make your content more readable. Lots of white space makes it easier on the eyeballs. Feature one idea per paragraph, and keep them short — three or four sentences at most.

And try writing some paragraphs with one sentence only.

2) Break up the content with subheads.

Subheads help keep the reader engaged, acting as “mini headlines” to keep them moving through the rest of your content, and give clarity to the content.

3) Use bullet lists

  • They create eye magnets your readers can’t resist
  • They’re an easily-scannable way to present multiple points
  • They look different, so they provide a visual break

Images Draw Attention and Eyeballs

4) Use images with captions.

Images draw attention and eyeballs, and are known to intrigue the reader making your content more interesting to them.

5) Add relevant links

Internal links back to your own content will keep people on your site and reading your best material, and external links demonstrate that you’ve researched the topic and want to highlight other experts.

Good content uses both to expand your reader’s understanding, adds value, and helps with SEO indexing.

6) Use formatting

Add emphasis to your web copy by bolding important concepts. You reader will be able to scan through and pick out the most important information at a glance.

Don’t highlight everything (which would have the same effect as highlighting nothing). Instead, emphasize the key points so the scanner can quickly pick them out.

7) Use numbered lists

Numbers are an effective way to both capture attention and to keep the reader engaged. You can often make a post more compelling just by numbering your main points. Give it a try.

8) Don’t hype

Forget about the caps, exclamation marks, multi-colored font, and pitching your deal. Your blog post is not a billboard and it’s not a classified ad. Think instead about teaching, educating, motivating, explaining, sharing, telling stories, sharing testimonies, and offering help. Calls to Action are not hype, and are ok, and even recommended, if not overdone.

and finally …proofread. Do you find it easy to read and understand. Will the reader keep from getting lost, and will they get the main points. Does it look like something you would want to stumble across online and would it captivate your attention.

So for those that want to blog, practice these simple steps and you’ll be a blogging pro in no time.

I hope you received some value from this. Please feel free to leave a comment or two

The #1 best blogging tip I can give is to just begin.

I’ll help with this process if you follow along, but to just begin is what will break down all the barriers.

Once started the rest will come easily enough. Start blogging, get some videos out, get more comfortable in front of the camera, and start your journey.blogging-tips.jpg One of my biggest roadblocks was the nagging thoughts of what I would blog about, what I would talk about, and when and how I was going to get started. But when I got started it opened the floodgates and the thoughts and ideas came to me … I’m sure it will be similar for you… and now I find today that I will never run out of material or things to say and talk about.

Here’s another blogging tip… find yourself a good mentor and/or online training course. Get the training, absorb the training, then blog and video about it. The writing and videos help to process the information so it sticks and you will learn and remember better and faster. It doesn’t matter the exact subject or topic..anything that interests you and that you want to share with others.

If you want to attract people with an interest in home business, network marketing, blogging, video marketing, content marketing, or anything similar then start learning those topics so you can teach what you learn.

Start giving your own blogging tips. The education you share can become a product on it’s own… one that you can use to generate leads with and create an income with. People are attracted to those who are providing good content that will help them solve a problem. This will establish you as a leader and as someone they will want to follow and continue learning from. Information is in high demand and if you provide it people will want to partner with you and work with you. They will come to you instead of you chasing them. This is the attraction marketing concept, and it works. Anyone can do this there is no experience required whatsoever.

When I started I knew nothing about blogging or video… I was totally green and didn’t know where to start or what to do. But I started reading, following the instructions and going trial and error… the slow long hard way figuring it out on my own. It was a process and a learning curve but now we are starting to cruise. Finding the right mentor or trainer can knock a lot off that learning curve. I got the blogging tips from that training and started applying myself. You don’t have to do what we did…all that trial and error… we’ve done it for you …

Now we invite you to follow along the journey. Get your domain name, hosting account, set up wordpress with a good theme, and start writing content. I talked about how helping others has it’s benefits and that it’s also an excellent way to learn and to retain information. Getting a blog established on the internet has many other benefits as well ..including name branding and recognition, and lead generation with minimal capital outlay. If you want to start establishing yourself as a leader and practicing the attraction marketing methods which is the fastest track to success, then get started with these activities. I hope my blogging tips can help you get started too.
